With news that our favourite password manager has been hacked, we’re advising anyone who relies on LastPass to change their master password immediately – and if you haven’t implemented two factor authentication (2FA) do so as soon as possible.

LastPass supports RADIUS authentication and can be hooked up to SafeNet SAS or SAM authentication systems.

LastPass have issued a statement saying that they do not believe user accounts have been accessed, but they are advising users to update their master password – and if you have used the same password elsewhere you must change the passwords on the other sites too.  You can read the full LastPass Security Notice here.

Please get in touch if you would like more information about improving the security of your network with two factor authentication.
